Rehabilitation

The Virginia F. and William R. Salomon Rehabilitation Department plays an integral role in patient care and research at Hospital for Special Surgery. Its skilled professionals provide quality rehabilitative care for patients of all ages pre-operatively, post-operatively, and/or for conservative management of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.

The Department offers a full spectrum of services, including ergonomic evaluations, Pilates, and sports performance. Locations include the main HSS campus, the Integrative Care Center (ICC) in Midtown Manhattan, and HSS Spine & Sport in Jupiter, Florida. Additional rehabilitation providers may be found through the HSS Rehabilitation Network.

Rehabilitation Network

The mission of the HSS Rehabilitation Network is to provide Hospital for Special Surgery patients who cannot utilize HSS for their outpatient rehabilitation, with the highest level of appropriate continuous care within their own community.
